- The PBFD responded automatic aid to 1341 North Road in Center Groton on 4/24/25 for a well involved occupied single family dwelling fire. Members operated the initial handline and eventually moved to master stream operations due to the volume of fire.
- PBFD units quickly extinguished a porch fire at 91 Buddington Road on 4/23/25. The time of dispatch was 05:59am and units arrived to find a porch fire but contained the fire before it could damage the home. All residents were able to evacuate and there were no injuries. The fire is under investigation by the PBFD Fire Marshals Office.
- We strive to bring positive outcomes to our taxpayers and visitors, even when it can be their worst day. It is always nice to see positive messages about our members and their work.

Units responded to an injured hiker at Bluff Point on 3/27/25. The hiker was removed by PBFD UTV.
- The PBFD was invited to participate in a thermal imaging camera class, which included taking part in a flashover simulator. Thank you to the Norwich Fire Department for including the PBFD in this important training.
